Splurge or Save

How do you determine whether to splurge or save? A few things that I consider is quality, price, and trends. I'm willing to spend more on an item when I know that the quality will withstand the test of time and that the piece is classic rather than trendy. While it's easier to go the less expensive route, remember, it can cost you more down the road, as it may wear out quickly.

But that doesn't mean I won't participate in a trend! Trends can be so much fun. But when I am going for a trendy look, I'd much rather buy a dupe.
